- 4 cups peeled, sliced apples
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 tsp. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cups oats (quick or old fashioned)
- 1 tblsp firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tbl margarine
Preheat oven to 375. Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well. Arrange apple mixture in an 8-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick coating. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake for 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.
